Good Friday is a day where, like Ash Wednesday, we fast between meals and abstain from eating meat. This week is also an opportunity to fast from any activities that take our attention and focus away from Christ and the living out of our vocation. Over the course of Lent we have fasted from many activities and have come to recognise the things that keep us rooted in this world instead of looking forward to the next.
Fasting challenge: Fast from any non essential activity that keeps you focused on the things of this world and replace it with an activity that focuses on the next.
