Ingredients
  1. 4 pieces of basa fish
  2. 1 cup flour (or more if necessary)
  3. 1/ tsp salt
  4. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  5. 2 eggs
  6. 2 cups breadcrumbs
Instructions
  1. The fish will be coated in 3 steps: first in the flour, then egg, and the a final coating of bread crumbs.
  2. In the first bowl, mix in salt and pepper with the flour.
  3. In the center bowl, thoroughly whisk 2 eggs with a fork.
  4. In the last step, place the bread crumbs in a wide tray.
  5. Cover each piece of fish in flour, next coat the fish in the egg and finally press firmly each side of the fish into the breadcrumbs.
  6. Heat a large frying pan to medium heat and add a little oil. Pan fry each side of the fish for approximately 5 minutes.
To check if the fish is cooked
  1. Pull each piece of fish apart gently using two forks, the centre should be white, flaky and easy to pull apart. (If it is uncooked, it will be opaque and slightly firm)
